KISS co-founder Gene Simmons is promoting his new book On Power: My Journey Through the Corridors of Power and How You Can Get More Power. His interview with ABC News’ Rebecca Jarvis is streaming on Facebook. Simmons wears a red velvet shirt and a black baseball hat designed with a bag full of money on it. (Note: Simmons sells those moneybags hats and t-shirts on his website.) During the interview, Simmons says downloading songs and not paying for the music is killing the industry, among other things.
Simmons also wears mirrored sunglasses and never looks at Jarvis who asks him about his “polarizing” opinions. He gives her a backwards compliment to her “gift of gab” and the conversation continues to get more uncomfortable. Simmons eventually takes off his “asshole glasses” because “it’s crack time” (his words) — thought what that means exactly we’re not sure. Simmons is already a New York Times bestselling author of his memoir, Kiss and Make-Up. Check out Jarvis’s interesting interview with Simmons below.
