Anna Catherine DeHart is one of the singers competing on The Voice, Season 13. For her Blind Audition, the Belmont University graduate from Arkansas sings the new Maren Morris song “I Could Use a Love Song.” Belmont University is in Nashville, not coincidentally, otherwise known as Music City.
After watching the short documentary ReMoved (below) about the abuse many children face in the foster care system, Anna Catherine and her friend Kristina Kidd wrote the song “Waiting on the Sun to Rise.” (Music video below.) All proceeds from the song go to Children’s Homes Inc. in Arkansas. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
