The TV mini-series Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders recounts the days leading up to and following the 1989 murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez. The married couple was killed in their Beverly Hills mansion by their sons, Lyle and Erik Menendez.
Kitty Menendez is portrayed by Lolita Davidovich. She’s known for her roles on Shades of Blue (Linda Wozniak), Blood & Oil (Annie Briggs), True Detective (Cynthia Woodrugh), The L Word (Francesca Wolff), The Agency (Avery Pohl), and in the films Gods and Monsters (Betty), The Longest Ride (Kate Collins), and Raising Cain (Jenny), among others. Fun fact: Davidovich is married to screenwriter Ron Shelton who was nominated for an Oscar in 1989 for writing Bull Durham. Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders airs Tuesday, September 26 at 10pm on NBC.
