For her live Top 10 performance on The Voice, 15 year old Aliyah Moulden on Team Blake sang “Jealous” by Labrinth. It’s an emotional song she can connect to after losing her father. She says beforehand that sometimes she’s jealous when her older siblings talk about the memories they had with their father — memories that Aliyah doesn’t have. At rehearsal, Blake was impressed with her choice. “It was her idea, America,” Blake says, of this song. He tells Aliyah to sing it like she means it, and she does.

During her live performance, Aliyah broke down in tears. The crowd cheered her on, and she finished the song with tears streaming down her face. Afterwards, Blake Shelton told her, “I literally couldn’t be more proud of you right now. You did what I asked you to do, you got lost in the moment. You cried during the song and I think we all cry with you.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
