In the Chicago P.D. episode ‘All Cylinders Firing’, Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) visits her father Robert at his townhouse. After warning him to be careful with his new, much younger girlfriend Natalie, Trudy is viciously attacked while leaving his house. When the team investigates and returns to Robert’s house, they find he’s been brutally attacked too.
Robert Platt is portrayed by Chelcie Ross. He’s appeared on many TV shows including Mad Men (as Conrad “Connie” Hilton). Ross is also recognized for his roles in the films The Coen Brothers’ A Simple Plan (Carl), Primary Colors (Charlie Martin), Clint Eastwood’s Trouble with the Curve (Smitty), Basic Instinct (Captain Talcott), and Major League (Eddie Harris), among many others. Chicago P.D. airs Wednesdays at 10pm on NBC.
