Singer Brian Justin Crum is a favorite to win Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. Crum doesn’t just have a great voice, he has also shared his story of struggle (he was bullied as a child) and isn’t afraid to reveal his big heart on stage. Just two days before his Semi-Finals performance on AGT (Tuesday, September 6), Crum posted a black-and-white video of him singing a song from the 1971 film Willly Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, starring the late Gene Wilder.
With the video Crum wrote: “I have a tattoo that says ‘We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.’” That’s a quote from Willy Wonka which “has always been my favorite movie and that line that Gene Wilder spoke always resonated with me,” says Crum. The results of the semi-finals will air on America’s Got Talent on Wednesday, September 7 at 8pm on NBC.
