English ventriloquist Paul Zerdin took a big risk on America’s Got Talent. Finally one of the chosen to get on stage at Radio City Music Hall, he walked off stage. Zerdin was trying to prove a point to his “dummy” Sam, who claimed he could do better without Paul. So Paul left Sam slumped over, sitting on the stool. When Paul was out of sight, Sam started to talk and move without Paul near him.

AGT judge Heidi Klum said she didn’t like it when Paul walked off, “I’m a purist, I like to see your mouth move.” But Howard Stern disagreed. “The best think you did was walk off the stage. Favorite act of the night!” he said. Paul Zerdin will likely be one of the seven acts to advance on America’s Got Talent which airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
