It’s been three years since Glee fans have seen Jesse St. James, Rachel’s (Lea Michele) former boyfriend. While New Directions and the Warblers battle it out at the sectionals, Rachel has a big decision to make. She can either return to NYADA or follow Jesse and take a role in a Broadway show.
Jesse St. James is portrayed by actor Jonathan Groff, who’s been pretty busy since his last appearance on Glee. He landed a role on Kelsey Grammer’s TV series Boss, provided his voice to a film you might have heard of, Frozen (Kristoff), and co-starred in the TV movie The Normal Heart with Mark Ruffalo. Groff is currently starring in the HBO TV series Looking.
