At BET’s Black Girls Rock gala, actor Will Smith reunited with his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks). They played cousins on the hit TV series from 1990-1996. The 36-year-old actress has since launched a singing career. Her single “Daydreamin’” reached #6 on the the Billboard 100 Hot Singles list and stayed there for two weeks. And Tatyana has continued to act.
Since Fresh Prince Tatyana’s had TV roles in Buppies (Quinci), Second Generation Wayans (Maya), The Young and the Restless (Roxanne) and Love That Girl! (Tyana). She’s now working on a star-studded film called Supermodel with Tyson Beckford about a young girl from the projects who goes on to become a sought-after fashion model. “Things aren’t always as pretty and glamorous as they seem.”
