Actor Edward Norton (Primal Fear, American History X, Fight Club) executive produced the documentary My Own Man which has just been acquired by Netflix. The film will premiere on March 6. My Own Man is the personal account of David Sampliner who “fears he must ‘man up’ and finally embrace the latent masculinity he’s rejected all his life,” when he learns he’s going to be the father of a baby boy. During his exploration, Sampliner — a friend of Norton’s — realizes all roads lead back to his relationship with his father.
Norton is not just producing the film, he appears in it, too. Norton is married to film producer Shauna Robertson. They have one son, born in March 2013.
