The Las Vegas Indie rock band Imagine Dragons will perform their new single “I Bet My Life” at the American Music Awards (AMA), which airs on ABC Sunday, November 23, at 8pm. But it was their Radioactive (Playing It Forward – Live Version) video that got to Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. – the superhero actor retweeted it and wrote: “Is there a sweeter sound than the music of charity? #PIF” Rolling Stone named the song “the biggest rock hit of the year.”
The members of Imagine Dragons – Dan Reynolds, Daniel Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman – are paying it forward, too. They started a charity, The Tyler Robinson Foundation, last year to help young people battling cancer. Tyler was a 16-year-old who was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer.
