Marvel has the premier line-up of bad guys in the movies, but the Marvel catalog is deep with villains who haven’t hit the screen yet. And more are no doubt on the way. Who’s next? Possibly 19th century geneticist and creator of mutants, the creepy powerful Nathaniel Essex–aka Mr. Sinister. Sinister’s ideas about genetic mutation and creating powerful weapons through genetic alterations are fast becoming reality in today’s world.
Mr. Sinister could be the most contemporary of all the Marvel villains, with modern science having caught up to his ideas. Look for Sinister to enter the X-Men film franchise as it expands. He even could provide the battlefield: “During the “Avengers vs. X-Men” storyline, Mister Sinister is discovered to have built his own city (based on Victorian-era London),” Wikipedia says.
