Hustling trees is slang for selling marijuana. Hip-hop retailer LRG (Lifted Research Group of Orange County, CA) wants their clientele to promote the expression by wearing oversized t-shirts, hoodies and flat-brimmed baseball hats that are emblazoned with the phrase. Chances are LRG celebrity endorsers like Kobe Bryant, Reggie Bush, Kanye West, and Quentin Tarantino won’t don the new line, in public. Well, maybe Kanye.
LRG co-founder Jonas Bevacqua, 33, was found dead in his Laguna Beach home last year. Word on the street: drug overdose.
