On The Real Housewives of Melbourne episode ‘Portrait of Figaro’, Lydia Schiavello hires a painter to come to her house and capture the essence of her dog Figaro on canvas. Lydia says, “It’s probably one of the cutest things I’ve done in a long, long time.” When the artist reveals the portrait to Lydia she couldn’t be happier. “Oh my god, that’s amazing,” she shrieks. And then she gets emotional about it.
When Lydia calms down a bit she tells the artist, “The definition in the whites, is really quite remarkable.” When Lydia’s friend Pettifleur Berenger comes over she tells Lydia, “You have way too much disposable income, girl.” About the portrait, Pettifleur says “that dog looks petrified. It looks like it’s been beaten all its life but we know it’s not.” Real Housewives of Melbourne airs Fridays at 9pm on Bravo.
