Pittsburgh lawyer Michael Robb is the inventor of Beer Blizzard. It’s a reusable disc that fits under a beer can to turn warm beer cold and to keep it cold for a longer amount of time. Robb raised $43,000 from a Kickstarter campaign to make the discs and started to promote the Beer Blizzard via Facebook ads with the tagline: “If you hate warm beer, click here.” Sales are good but, as any entrepreneur will tell you, they can always be better. That’s why Robb is pitching Beer Blizzard on Shark Tank (March 18), where he keeps the investors laughing…and he hopes all the way to the bank.
