Actress Madelaine Petsch is best known for her role as Cherry Blossom in the CW’s long-running teen drama Riverdale based on Archie Comics. While the series is coming to an end in August (the seventh and final season premieres on August 23), Petsch is just getting started.
When the 28-year-old red-haired beauty dropped the photos above of her modeling a sheer hip-hugging black dress, she cleverly captioned it: “went to a party in my birthday suit” and tagged the fashion design house, Givenchy, responsible for that dress and photographer Cibelle Levi, who captured the moment.
Petsch’s fans and famous friends are going wild over the photos. Her Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper) replied: “Good lawd” with a fire emoji; Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge) replied, “you’re stunning bye”; and Superman & Lois star Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane) admitted: “I physically cannot handle this much hotness on my phone screen.”
Get ready to see more of Petsch: she will appear next on the big screen in the upcoming slasher movie trilogy, The Strangers. (It’s the 3rd, 4th, and 5th installment of the franchise which was launched by the 2008 film The Strangers starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman.)
In the new Strangers movies, Petsch stars as the protagonist, a young woman who drives across the country with her boyfriend (Froy Gutierrez, Teen Wolf, Cruel Summer). When their car breaks down they’re forced to spend the night in a remote Airbnb, where they are terrorized by three “psychopathic masked strangers.” No word yet on a release date.
