Country music legend Dolly Parton is promoting her new studio album (her 49th!), Rockstar, which features duets with fellow famous singers.
As seen above and below, Parton is flaunting her famous curves in a black and leopard-print corset dress with a sheer skirt and promoting the recently released tracks: ‘Bygones’ featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest, and ‘Magic Man’ with Ann Wilson of Heart.
Most of Parton’s fans can’t wait for the album release (November 17) but some have voiced their disappointment and refusal to support the album due to the duet she recorded with Kid Rock, who recently protested against Bud Light with a video of him shooting cans of the beer with a semi-automatic rifle. Ironically, the song is ‘Either Or.’
As one fan replied: “Love Dolly but will not financially support any record with Kid Rock on it.”
Another chimed in: “seeing Kid Rock getting a slot on your album is a little heartbreaking to say the least. Helping fund a person’s career who is using it currently to promote anti-trans legislature and push trans genocide is a pass for me. Please reconsider the message you send with this.”
Another fan made a more desperate plea: “BEGGING you to ditch the Kid Rock track.”
Note: Parton’s ACM Awards co-host Garth Brooks (above) is also facing backlash but from the Kid Rock MAGA population who are boycotting Brooks’ new bar in Nashville because Brooks said it will sell all beer including Bud Light. Brooks addressed the intolerance of the boycotters: “If you’re an a**hole, there are plenty of other places on lower Broadway.”
