Hollywood movie and TV star Eva Longoria (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids) is expanding her brand and entrepreneurial empire by launching a new cookware collection, Risa. The word ‘risa’ means “laugh” in Spanish.
The Risa cookware set includes two pots, two pans (with lids) and two pot holders. The product is not only good looking (it comes in deep blue, cool gray and ivory white) but is also non-toxic and multi-functional. The lids are designed so they can sit on the handles of the pots and pans.
Risa cookware is getting five-star reviews including: “Lid Rest Is Genius. Setting the lid on the handles of the pot or pan is something I didn’t know I NEEDED. I use it every single time I cook. So much less mess on my kitchen counters.”
Get ready to see more of Eva: she and George Lopez will play the adult roles in the new Latino-centric adaption of the children’s book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
