Country music legend Trisha Yearwood is hosting (and performing on) the 10th annual CMA Country Christmas TV special. Yearwood will welcome a number of fellow superstar singers on stage including Kristin Chenoweth, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, and Brett Young, among others. When not on stage, Yearwood spends time with her husband, Garth Brooks, who was just named Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards. For the big red carpet event, Yearwood rocked a gorgeous zebra-print dress.
In the photo above, Brooks wore his signature black cowboy hat, which he wears for all his concerts. But in the photo below, while wearing a tuxedo, Brooks reveals a shock of dark spiky hair which came as a surprise to many fans.
While most fans are supportive of the couple, many wrote that they preferred seeing Brooks with his natural, gray/silver hair. More than one fan wrote: “doesn’t look like him,” and suggested that he stop dying his hair.
CMA Country Christmas airs Tuesday, December 3 at 9 pm on ABC, right after the one-hour TV special, Brad Paisley Think He’s Special at 8 pm. [BONUS: Stream any ABC show through the ABC GO Digital App found here. Download is FREE.]
