On the Season 7 finale of Vanderpump Rules, “Rules of Engagement,” while getting ready for the elaborate engagement party for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, single ladies Kristen Doute, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay hang out. Scheana complains about her boyfriend Adam ignoring her.
She thinks it’s because she went out on a date with a male model, which, you know, tends not to sit well with boyfriends. She says Adam told her that was “disrespectful.” Natch. Lala jumps in, “If he doesn’t want that happening, he should commit to you.” Lala goes on about how hard Scheana works on her relationships which makes Scheana cry. When Lala and Kristen give her a hug, Scheana says, “And then it gets worse.”

Scheana tells her friends that Adam is really into penguins (“the thing he loves more than anything else in the world”) so she adopted one for him at the aquarium and named her Spot. Lala and Kristen are befuddled. Scheana starts to cry again, “If he’s still mad at me after I got him a f–king penguin, then we’re done.” Vanderpump Rules airs Mondays at 9 pm on Bravo.
