In the NCIS episode “She,” a malnourished and confused 9-year-old named Lily Burke (Sunnie Pelant, Bones) is found hiding in a storage unit. The NCIS team believes she might be the daughter of a Navy recruit who disappeared 10 years ago. During the investigation, Bishop (Emily Wickersham) finds notes about the Navy recruit’s disappearance kept by her predecessor Special Agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). The former Israeli Mossad officer first appeared on Season 3 of NCIS (2005). The character appears to have been killed in a mortar attack in Israel during Season 11 (2013 — see episode link below). NCIS fans are holding their breath that she didn’t really die and will eventually make a comeback.
