In the Lifetime movie The Christmas Pact, two childhood best friends, Ben and Sadie, made a Christmas wish every year together. Now adults, they tempt fate by falling in love with each other during the holidays. Sadie is portrayed by Kyla Pratt (Eddie Murphy’s daughter Maya in the Doctor Doolittle movies). Ben is portrayed by Canadian-born actor Jarod Joseph (Nathan on CW’s The 100). Keep an eye out also for A Different World stars Jasmine Guy (Southern belle Whitley Gilbert) and Kadeem Hardison (Dwayne Wayne). The two actors starred in The Cosby Show spin-off with Lisa Bonet, who played Cosby’s daughter, Denise Huxtable. (In the sixth and final season of A Different World, Whitley and Dwayne married and announced they were excepting their first child.)

Since A Different World, Guy has appeared on many TV series including The Vampire Diaries as Sheila “Grams” Bennett. Hardison currently stars in K.C. Undercover with Zendaya as Craig Cooper and will be in the new TV series Black Monday with Don Cheadle. Last week, on The Real, Hardison admitted to have a crush on Guy “the minute I saw her” (see video below). The Christmas Pact premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, December 2 at 8 pm.
