In the Happy Together episode “How Jake and Claire Met,” Jake (Damon Wayans Jr) and Claire (Amber Stevens West) go out to a coffee shop with Cooper James (Felix Mallard), Jake’s pop star client who’s staying with them. At the coffee shop, the cute barista Diane flirts with Cooper who responds awkwardly. He’s thrown off because cute barista Diane doesn’t know who he is.
Diane is portrayed by actress Mary Mouser. She’s known for her roles as Samantha LaRusso on The Karate Kid-inspired YouTube series Cobra Kai, The Fosters (Sarah Lewis), Body of Proof (Lacey Fleming), NCIS (as Gibbs’ daughter Kelly Gibbs, SEE LINK ABOVE), Scandal (First Daughter Karen Grant), Life Is Wild (Mia Weller), and in the animated series Me, Eloise (as the voice of Eloise), among others. Mouser also played the First Daughter on Scandal (see below). Happy Together airs Mondays at 8:30 pm on CBS, right after The Neighborhood and right before Magnum P.I.
