The Hallmark movie Pearl in Paradise is about travel photographer Alex (Jill Wagner) and writer Colin (Kristoffer Polaha) who fall in love while on a treasure hunt for an elusive Polynesian pearl. Both professionals have a lot on the line for the photo-journalistic project. Together Alex and Colin try to hunt down the pearl which they believe is hidden in a valley in Fiji. During their time together, Alex and Colin fall in love with each other and discover that love is more valuable that any precious gem.
The Hallmark movie Pearl in Paradisewas filmed in Fiji, an archipelago of more than 330 islands in the South Pacific. Fiji (population 837,000) is known for its white sandy beaches, coral reefs and scuba diving. Pearl in Paradise premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, August 18 at 9pm.
