On the Little Women: LA episode “Sober Celebration,” Christy Gibel is celebrating her eighth year of life sober. She wants the party to have a bohemian-theme. She wants the non-alcoholic party to be full of love, peace and happiness but you know that’s not going to happen if she invites Lila Call, Terra Jole and Tonya Banks. And yes, that’s exactly what Christy does. She tells Tonya that Lila’s coming — but she doesn’t tell Terra. So when Terra shows up with flowers in her hair, she looks like one with nature, but she isn’t one with Lila. Terra says seeing Lila at the party “is boggling to me.” It wasn’t too long ago when Christy and Tonya fought with Lila about her drinking on the Couples Retreat (see clip below). “You told me you were sober,” Christy said at the time. “C’mon, Christy, everyone has their hangups,” was Lila’s response. And then she told Christy she was overweight.
In one scene Tonya is seen sitting with Lila separate from the group. While Lila looks like she’s on the verge of tears, Terra approaches them and says to Tonya, “I’m just coming over here to see if you need any rescuing.” Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
