From the very beginning, Pryor Baird has been a star that been burning bright on Season 14 of The Voice. After performing “I Don’t Need No Doctor” for his Blind Audition, rookie coach Kelly Clarkson called him a man’s man and encouraged him to keep his shirts unbuttoned. The rock/country singer on Team Blake has made it to the Top 11. He hopes his next performance will send him to the Top 10. On Monday, April 30, Pryor will take on the classic rock song “Night Moves” by Bob Seger.

It took Seger six months to write the 1976 song. The song is about a teenage love affair he had in 1962. As Seger says: “It’s about this dark haired Italian girl that I went out with when I was 19, she was one year older than me.” But when her boyfriend came back into the picture, she left Seger heartbroken. Seger told Rolling Stone journalist Timothy White that many of his early songs were written to impress that girl. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
