Pryor Baird is the 35-year-old singer competing on Season 14 of The Voice. When he sang “I Don’t Need No Doctor” for his Blind Audition, rookie coach Kelly Clarkson called Pryor a sexy “man’s man” with his shirt unbuttoned and revealing chest hair. At his Knockout Round, after singing “Will It Go Round in Circles,” his coach Blake Shelton said Pryor is “one of the forerunners” of the competition. For the Live Playoffs, Pryor is singing the Chris Stapleton song “I Was Wrong.” It’s about a man groveling to his lover to come back to him.

When Chris Stapleton performed “I Was Wrong” live at Austin City Limits, he added an amazing and lengthy guitar solo (see video below). Pryor won’t have the opportunity (or time) to deliver a commanding performance quite like that on The Voice. But groveling well can happen fast! The Voice Live Playoffs begins Monday, April 16 at 8pm on NBC.
