In the NCIS episode “Death From Above,” the team is given the first five chapters of Ducky’s book (311 pages!). In the office, they talk about all the things Ducky reveals in the book including wrestling a python and meeting David Bowie — in the same day! The fun conversation is interrupted when a dead body falls on the roof of their office. During the investigation, the team meets Special Agent Joanna Wright.
NCIS Special Agent Joanna Wright is portrayed by Gwendoline Yeo. The Singapore-born actress is known for her roles on American Crime (Richelle), Desperate Housewives (Xiao-Mei, Eva Longoria’s naughty maid), and General Hospital (Dr. Kelly Lee), and as a voice actor (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns). Fun facts about Yeo: After moving to the U.S., Yeo graduated from UCLA and won the titles of Miss Asian America and Miss Chinatown USA. NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS, right before Bull.
