In the Lifetime movie Bad Tutor, single mom Kelli hires a tutor to help her daughter Emily (Alex Frnka) get into a good college. Emily needs a lot help in chemistry. The problem is the tutor, professional chemist Devin (Charles Hittinger), is a psychopath. He seduces Emily and becomes obsessed with his teen student who happens to look just like a girl he once left at the bottom of a cliff.
Kelli is portrayed by Vanessa Marcil. She’s known for her roles on General Hospital (Port Charles’ Brenda Barrett, see photo below), Without a Trace (Kim Marcus), Lipstick Jungle (Josie Scotto), Las Vegas (Sam Marquez), Beverly Hills, 90210 (Gina Kincaid), among others. On a personal note: At the age of 21, Marcil married 80s teen idol Corey Feldman (Lost Boys, Stand By Me) from 1989 to 1993 (photos below). Bad Tutor, which is directed by Jeff Hare (Psycho In-Law), premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, March 3 at 8pm.
