Last week on America’s Next Top Model, the top 15 models were thrown into the fire and expected to walk the length of Venice Beach Skate Park. After that, they were to “master the beauty of pregnancy.” This week, the models are getting trademark looks. Or as Tyra Banks calls them “Ty-Overs.” Tyra tells them “You are getting a trademark style which will transform your look into an edgy editorial version of yourself that will help you stand out in this cut-throat modeling industry.”

As 20-year-old contestant Rhiyan from Orange County, California says, ‘These aren’t normal makeovers. This is what’s going to take us to the next level.” The first girl up is Sandra. Tyra orders her “a blunt long bob.” Brendi K is ordered to shave her hair; Brendi does not appear as excited as Sandra. Ivana, the 23-year-old from Durham, North Carolina is told to get an Afro tightening which she’s not crazy about either. “Growing up I always heard that short hair is ugly.” But Ivana is willing to trust the process. Liberty Netuschil, the 20-year-old beauty from Idaho “who voted red” (she’s pro Trump), is now going red. After taping the show, Liberty told her local newspaper that she aspires to eventually leave modeling and start a career in blogging and motivational speaking. America’s Next Top Model airs Tuesdays at 8pm on VH1.
