Singing sensation Josh Groban is hosting and performing the CBS TV special A Home for the Holidays. He will also perform solo — and with Kelly Clarkson. Other stars to shine on the stage including Kacey Musgraves and Kane Brown. The event is designed to raise awareness about adoption and foster care. Groban said of the experience, “We all did our best not to bawl our eyes out while taping. The stories, and families who made those stories, are inspiring to say the least.”
A Home for the Holidays With Josh Groban is presented in association with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children’s Action Network, an organization founded by the late Wendy’s hamburger chain founder Dave Thomas. (Thomas was adopted.) According to the press release, there are 450,000 children in the U.S. foster care system looking for a home. A Home for the Holidays with Josh Groban airs Tuesday, December 19 at 8pm on CBS.
