The Hallmark Channel movie The Mistletoe Inn is about Kim Rossi, an aspiring romance novelist who goes to a writers conference in Vermont. The conference is held at a quaint Vermont Inn right before Christmas. Kim could uses a boost after being dumped by her boyfriend Garth — who is also a writer and, yup, he shows up at the conference. Kim forgets all about Garth when she meets handsome published author Zeke (David Alpay) who delivers the romantic double negative to Kim, “I can’t not chase after you.”

[The Mistletoe Inn is based on the novel by Richard Paul Evans]
Writer Kim is portrayed by Alicia Witt. She’s known for her roles on The Exorcist (scary Nicole, see below), Twin Peaks (Gersten Hayward), Nashville (Autumn Chase), Friday Night Lights (Cheryl), and Cybill (Cybill Shepherd’s daughter Zoey, see link above), among others. Fun fact: Witt made her acting debut in the 1984 David Lynch sci-fi thriller Dune. The Mistletoe Inn premieres on Hallmark on Thanksgiving Day at 8pm.
