NBA superstar Russell Westbook will be the top billing guest on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 13. He’s promoting his 272-page book, Russell Westbrook: Style Drivers. It’s not a memoir but “a celebration of Westbrook’s style on and off the basketball court, and the creative people he admires and works with.” Russell is certainly known for his creativity on the basketball court and off. His off-court style is reflected in the design of the book. Three different covers have been designed and produced. Buyers of Russell Westbrook: Style Drivers don’t get to choose a cover — they are shipped at random. The book, which was released by Rizzoli at the end of August, is currently #1 on Amazon in two categories: Fashion Design and Fashion Photography.

Fun fact: The designer of the three book covers is 60-year-old Raymond Pettibon. He launched his art career in the late 1970s by designing the logo, posters and album covers for his big brother’s (Greg Ginn) punk rock band Black Flag. Pettibon was a bass player in the group when it was known by the name Panic. Good Morning America airs Monday through Friday at 7am on ABC.
