In the Jill and Jessa: Counting On episode “A New Courtship,” Joy-Anna Duggar is planning her May wedding with her fiance Austin Forsyth. But as the episode airs, it’s September and Joy and Austin have already announced their first pregnancy. At the end of August, they announced that they’re three months pregnant. The baby is due in February 2018.
In the baby announcement video below, Austin says, “I think we’re going to be having a little girl.” He explains, “There’s kinda of been a trend of having boys in the family, and I think we’re going to break it.” Joy disagrees. “I think it’s a boy,” she says. Austin goes on to say that he hopes their child is just like their mother “selfless and always serving.” Jill and Jessa: Counting On airs Mondays at 9pm on TLC.
