The host of Celebrity Family Feud Steve Harvey will welcome two successful women (and their families) to the game show. TV personality/celebrity chef Sandra Lee will play with her sister, a nephew and a niece but without her domestic partner, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. The Lee Family will face-off against actress Lea Thompson and her siblings but without her husband of 28 years, movie director Howard Deutch.
[Thompson made a big impression in Some Kind of Wonderful]
One of the first big Hollywood films that Lea Thompson starred in was the 1987 John Hughes movie Some Kind of Wonderful with Eric Stoltz and Mary Stuart Masterson. (It was a love triangle!) The director of the film was Deutch. Two years later, in 1989, Thompson and Deutch married. They have two daughters, Madelyn and Zoey. Since Some Kind of Wonderful, Deutch went on to direct The Great Outdoors, Grumpier Old Men, The Odd Couple II, The Replacements, and The Whole Ten Years, among others. Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC, right before Steve Harvey’s Funderdome at 9pm.
