Superstar singer Jackie Evancho is the subject of the new TLC reality show Growing Up Evancho. Jackie’s mother Lisa describes her and her husband Michael’s role as “a double-edged sword.” While Michael is managing Jackie’s career, Lisa and Michael are also raising four children including Jackie and Jackie’s transgender sister Juliet.
On Growing Up Evancho, while Juliet refers to Jackie as her best friend there is also an admitted rivalry between the two sisters in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Jackie says Juliet is jealous of her career which Juliet always wanted for herself. While Jackie is selling Platinum albums, Jackie is pursuing a career as a professional model.
