World of Dance judges Ne-Yo, JLo, and Derek Hough have gone through three rounds of qualifiers before sending through 31 acts to the semi-finals. During the first round of Duels, a top qualifier gets to chose a rival from their division and have a face-off to determine who stays and who goes home. In the Upper Division: hip hop dancer Fik-Shun faces contemporary dancer Nick Daniels.
While Fik-Shun performs to the Tech N9ne song “Fragile” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Mayday, Nick performs to the song “Wicked Game” which Chris Isaak made famous. (David Lynch made it famous too when it was added to the Wild at Heart soundtrack.) Nick performs to a version performed by British singer/songwriter Raign. It was her second solo single. It was released in 2014 as an electropop number (mixed by Mysto & Pizzi). World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC after America’s Got Talent.
