Before the Season 12 premiere of America’s Got Talent (May 30), AGT judge Howie Mandel went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk up the talent show. When Ellen DeGeneres showed a clip featuring a chicken playing an electric piano, she said jokingly, “You don’t have to pick everyone.” That was Jokgu the chicken playing the piano. When the keys light up, he taps them with his beak and plays “America the Beautiful.” Who taught him how to play the piano, you ask? Jokgu has two momangers. He is cared for by two women who go by the name Two Creative Chicks. And he’s not the only rising star in their backyard coop.

Two Creative Chicks are not just in it for a few minutes of fame – they are “advocates for fowl play” and care for several chickens known collectively as Flockstars. Jokgu plays in a band with Spaetzle (the white chicken below) who likes to play drums. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
