Lifetime is telling the story of Michael Jackson’s last days via its TV movie Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland. It’s based on the book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael in His Final Days”, written by his “trusted bodyguards” Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. Michael Jackson is portrayed by Navi, who’s known as the “world’s #1 Michael Jackson tribute artist.” Not only did he meet Michael Jackson — he was hired by the pop icon as a decoy.

On The Wendy Williams Show, Navi said: “Sometimes it was great, sometimes it was frightening.” Navi said walking out of a hotel as Michael Jackson, surrounded by 2500 people and not enough security, “yeah, can be a bit frightening.” Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland premieres on Lifetime on Monday, May 29 at 8pm.
