Natalie MacMaster tells the story of how she met 27-time Grammy Award-winning artist Alison Krauss in 1987, in the video below. They were in a violin workshop together. Natalie says of Alison: “I remember thinking, wow, she’s really good.” Natalie heard about Alison again when she was in teacher’s college. She heard a friend listening to Alison’s music and asked who the artist was. Natalie had no idea Alison could sing. “I was totally blown away.” Below Natalie performs with Alison as she sings her song “Get Me Through December” which is available on Amazon. Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm and 8pm on NBC.
