Since retiring from professional baseball after winning the World Series with the Chicago Cubs in 2016, David Ross has been busy. In addition to publishing a book, Teammate: My Journal in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages, he’s been competing on Dancing with the Stars with pro dance partner Lindsay Arnold. During the sixth week of performances, the final four male celebrities (David Ross, NFL player Rashad Jennings, Bachelor Nick Viall, bull rider Bonner Bolton) will compete against the final four female celebrities (Simone Biles, Nancy Kerrigan, Heather Morris and Normani Kordai) on the show.

Hours before the episode airs, David Ross posted a photo of him with his fellow male contestants and sent it to Anthony Rizzo, first baseman on the Chicago Cubs. He wrote: “Sorry, it’s going to a PG-13 kind of night again.” Rizzo has publicly teased and supported Ross with words like: “Can’t wait to see those hips move…Good luck…and try not to suck.” Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
