Whether you like it or not, the violent, “girl-on-girl” reality TV show Bad Girls Club is back for its seventeenth season. This season’s theme is based on the East Coast vs West Coast rivalry which the girls like to compare to the days of Biggie and Tupac. It’s not really an even match – there are 4 from the East, 3 from the West battling it out in the BGC mansion in Los Angeles. What also sets this season apart from the others is the inclusion of a plus-size woman, Kiyanna Monae.
Kiyanna is from Brooklyn, New York and says she’s been bullied for her weight since she was ca child. She also claims to have been suspended from school nearly 10 times by the time she was 13. Somehow she managed to go to college and earn a degree in psychology but she doesn’t always apply smart psychology on Bad Girls Club, which premieres on Valentine’s Day. Bad Girls Club airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Oxygen.
