On the Wahlburgers episode ‘Rick-Rolled,’ while mama Alma gives her son Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods) cooking tips, her other son, the real chef Paul Wahlberg, takes a tour of London with pop singer Rick Astley. The Wahlbergs have been looking to open a restaurant in London.
Astley is best known for his 1987 #1 hit song “Never Gonna Give You Up.” (See below.) He became super popular again in 2007 when an Internet meme was named after him, Rickrolling. It’s when someone clicks on a link thinking they’re going to get something else but end up seeing Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” video. So why is Paul meeting with Astley? Astley says he’s working on making his own beer with Mikkeller Beer in Copenhagen. It might go nicely with a Wahlburgers Double Decker. Wahlburgers airs Wednesdays at 9:30pm on A&E.
