ABC 20/20 will air a special tribute to the late actresses Carrie Fisher (Star Wars, Blues Brothers) and her mother Debbie Reynolds (Singin’ in the Rain) who passed away just one day after her daughter on December 28, 2016. Reynolds and her first husband Eddie Fisher had two children together, Carrie, 60, and Todd, who is 58. Carrie and Todd’s parents divorced a year after Todd’s birth. Todd Fisher is named after Eddie Fisher’s best friend, Academy Award-winning film producer Mike Todd (Around the World in 80 Days), who died one month after Todd Fisher was born.
Todd Fisher most recently co-produced Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, a documentary about his mother’s and sister’s close relationship. It will air on HBO in 2017. Fisher is also the CEO and curator of the Hollywood Motion Picture Museum, which is located at Debbie Reynolds Studios (DR Studios) in North Hollywood. Todd Fisher’s current wife (his third) is soap opera actress Catherine Hickland (Lindsay on One Live to Live). She is the ex-wife of actors David Hasselhoff (she played Hasselhoff’s character’s fiancee Stevie on Knight Rider) and Michael E. Knight (Tad on All My Children). ABC 20/20 airs Fridays at 10pm.
