R&B singer Michel’le rose to stardom with the all-male rap group N.W.A. in Compton. N.W.A. was started by Eazy-E who co-founded Ruthless Records with music manager Jerry Heller. In the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton, Heller was portrayed by actor Paul Giamatti. Heller wasn’t pleased with the way he was depicted in the film and sued NBCUniversal, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. Ice Cube and Dr. Dre countersued in February 2016. Heller died of a heart attack in September 2016.
