In the Westworld episode ‘Chestnut’, while Elsie (Shannon Woodward) tweaks the emotions of madam Maeve Millay (Thandie Newton) to avoid a recall and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Theresa (Sidse Babett Knudsen) argue over the anomaly of a host, two guests arrive. Both men have different expectations of Westworld. Both have different agendas. It’s not Logan’s (Ben Barnes) first time, but it is the first time for William.
William is portrayed by Jimmi Simpson. He’s known for his roles on Person of Interest (Logan Pierce), Hap and Leonard (Soldier), House of Cards (Gavin Orsay), The Newsroom (Jack Spaniel), Psych (Mary Lightly), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Liam McPoyle), Breakout Kings (Lloyd Lowery), and Late Show with David Letterman (Lyle the Intern, 2008-2009), among others. Westworld airs Sundays at 9pm on HBO.
