On the Hallmark Channel TV movie Pumpkin Pie Wars, there’s a serious Pumpkin Pie contest going on in the town of Emeryville, Ohio. It started out as a friendly rivalry between two bakers, Faye and Lydia, but now their rivalry has been passed down to their adult children and co-workers, Casey McArthy (Faye’s daughter) and Sam Harper (Lydia’s son). But when things get heated in the kitchen, sparks fly between the two “kids”.
Casey is portrayed by Julie Gonzalo. The Argentine-born actress is known for her roles on Dallas (Pamela Rebecca Barnes), Eli Stone (Maggie Dekker), and Veronica Mars (Parker Lee), among others. Gonzalo is also recognized for her roles in the films A Cinderella Story (Shelby), Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (Amber), and Freaky Friday (Stacey Hinkhouse). Pumpkin Pie Wars premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, October 15 at 9pm. It will air again on Saturday, October 16 at 5pm, Sunday, October 22 at 7pm, and Sunday, October 23 at 1pm.
