MTV turned to rapper Snoop Dogg to perform the theme song for its new comedy series mary + jane. The protagonists are two young beautiful white women in Los Angeles who like to smoke weed and are launching their own weed delivery business called mary + jane. Jordan (Scout Durwood) is the tall brunette who can act a bit reckless sometimes (having sex with clients) and Paige is the petite blonde who is trying to get over her graffiti artist boyfriend, Soft Serve.
Paige is portrayed by Jessica Rothe. She’s appeared on several TV shows including Gossip Girl, Blue Bloods, and Chicago P.D., among others. Rothe will appear next on the big screen in the comedy musical La La Land with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling (in theaters December 16). mary + jane airs Mondays at 10pm on MTV.
