Twenty castaways are competing on the 33rd season of Survivor in Fiji. They’re divided by generation — it’s the Millennials vs. Generation X . Many of the members of the Gen X tribe are old enough to be the parents of those in the Millennials tribe. Indeed, many of the Gen X members are parents including 45-year-old mother of four Sunday Burquest and 33-year-old model Ken McNickle.
For five years, Ken was enjoying the carefree single life in Hawaii, living off-the-grid. He remembers reading the Bible as a kid and hearing the word hedonist like it was a bad thing but says now as an adult, “There’s nothing wrong with hedonism.” (Hedonism is the pursuit of pleasure.) But Ken’s priorities have definitely changed. He recently discovered he’s the father of a four-year-old daughter. “One night stands are a thing of the past,” says Ken. Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X airs Wednesdays at 8pm on CBS.
