John Ferraro aka “Hammer Head” is the man who holds large concrete bricks over his head and then endures a 16-pound bowling ball being dropped from 10 feet above (causing the bricks to break on his head) on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. He holds the Guinness World Record (45 concrete bricks broken on his head with a bowling ball), see video below.
After watching his Guinness World Record performance, one naysayer debunked the feat. Ky Ku wrote: “It’s a setup using the ball drop in the middle of the blocks with both his hand pushing up away from his head. making it look like he’s breaking it with his head, but really, it has nothing to do with his head. but holding both his arms up for this long had made him tired. you can tell he couldn’t really do it anymore at the end cuz his arms were actually tired from holding it up like that.” You can take another look at Ferraro’s feat on America’s Got Talent which airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
